A graduate of Pratt Institute, this Vermont born artist resides in Mystic, CT. A former Manhattanite for 24 years, Lisa juggles her travel, fun and work between both spots. Active with illustration and fine art, Adams also is a drawing instructor at the Mystic Museum of Art and South County Art Association in Rhode Island. The creator of the babyGap teddy bear (Baby Brannon) and author/illustrator of the holiday children’s picture book “The Twelve Days of Christmas in New York City,” Lisa is a regular contributor to the New York Times and mainstream publications for her editorial illustration. Her fine art practice consists of two solo exhibitions, private commissions and she continues to exhibit in juried shows and online platforms. Of recent, the debut of a children’s picture book she illustrated entitled “Happy Birthday Coco Bear, A Story of a Covid-born Baby Bear” authored by Mary Lou McDonough and the launch of her first NFT collection of digital art under the banner of the Serengeti Collaborative are soon to launch.
